Owl Craft

We had a lot of fun creating a cute owl to brighten up our classroom!  The kids got right to work using the skill of following instructions, cutting, gluing, using all of those fine motor muscles in their hands, and of course, their creativity!  

Please excuse my absence...

I was so, so sad to miss Open House on Tuesday night!  I have been extremely sick with a gigantic kidney stone/infection.  I will be out the rest of the week due to a procedure that is required to get me all the way better. :(  Give your kiddos a extra squeeze from me and tell them I miss them and I'll see them early next week!

Welcome Back to School!

We're settling into a nice routine in our class and learning a lot about our classroom routines and expectations.  Ask your child to tell you about our "Brownie Points" that the class can earn and also about the skill we learned of "accepting no for an answer" (1. say ok, 2. stay calm,  3. ask why later).

I'll be updating the blog weekly, so check back for information about fun things we're doing, pictures, and ideas of things you can work on at home to support what we're doing in class.
