Today we learned an arts-based strategy called "Mirroring". With a partner the children become a mirror of the other, moving their body to match their partner's. This strategy is a great way to build our concentration! Our busy, often noisy, classroom was magically silent as the kids focused on the activity. We will be adding other arts-based strategies as the year goes by.
Looks like a great activity! (Maybe we could try this at home - anything to encourage more quiet is welcome!)
